3D Secure (Visa Secure and Mastercard ID Check)

Visa Secure and Mastercard ID Check are programs from Visa and Mastercard, respectively, that provide a cardholder authentication method to ensure that the purchase is being made by the card owner.

When a cardholder makes a payment and their card is enrolled in the program, they will be directed to the Visa or Mastercard page (as applicable), where they must authenticate themselves using the method defined by their issuing bank. Once the customer is authenticated, the transaction is completed in the usual manner.
