70-pounds luggage

15 LB Carry-On

Travel light with a carry-on bag of up to 25 pounds, allowing you to have the essentials at hand during your flight without having to check your luggage.

Checked baggage

Checked baggage must meet standard size requirements to fit in the aircraft’s hold:

  • Hand luggage must not exceed 35 kilos or its equivalent in pounds 70.
  • No piece of luggage may exceed 62 inches in dimensions. Handles, pockets, and wheels are included in these dimensions. Luggage that does not meet these dimensions may be refused check-in.
  • Checked baggage exceeding 62 inches or 50 pounds will be subject to an additional charge. Restrictions apply. Not valid on all flights; see agent for details.

Checked baggage

Hand luggage must comply with the following dimensions and rules in order to be placed in the overhead compartment of the aircraft:

  • Hand luggage must not exceed 7 kilos or the equivalent of 15 pounds.
  • It can measure up to 42 linear inches (118 cm): 21″ high + 13″ long + 8″ wide (53 cm high + 33 cm long + 20 cm wide). The suitcase wheels are not included in the linear measurement.
  • If carry-on baggage exceeds the permitted allowance, it will be sent to the aircraft hold as checked baggage. Applicable excess baggage fees will be charged.

        Note: If a passenger presents additional carry-on baggage at the gate beyond what was checked in, they will be charged US$120 for the transport of this additional baggage. Transport of the extra baggage is subject to aircraft space availability.

Personal assistance articles

The storage, handling and transport of assistance devices for passengers with special needs, in addition to their baggage allowance, are permitted, provided that the passenger is dependent on these devices for their mobility.

  1.         An orthopedic device
  2.         A walking stick
  3.         Crutches
  4.         A wheelchair and its batteries
  5.         A portable respirator
  6.         A walking frame

Baby items

If you are traveling with a child aged 0 to 23 months, one (1) copy of each of the following three (3) items applies:

  1.         A baby seat, if the baby has a purchased seat.
  2.         A folding pram was checked in the hold.
  3.         A diaper bag

Items for personal use

One (1) coat or jacket per person is permitted.
